Since the beginning of this year, Changde City has continued to strengthen its highway overload control work. As of the end of May, a total of 284700 freight vehicles have been inspected, 1873 overloaded vehicles have been inspected on site, 28100 tons of goods have been unloaded, and the traffic police have scored 4384 points. 986 overloaded vehicles have been inspected off site, and the overload control work has achieved practical results.
After years of construction to control overloading, Changde City has built over 60 sets of non-stop detection systems, making it the city with the most non-stop detection systems among the 14 cities in Hunan Province. Each district, county (city), and management area has established non-stop detection systems or pre inspection systems, truly achieving full coverage of the road network and laying a solid foundation for technological overload control.

During the period from 2020 to 2022, Hunan Province invested over 1.43 billion yuan and built nearly 400 sets of non-stop exceeding limit detection systems, basically forming a comprehensive, fully covered, and all-weather overloading control and supervision system. The over limit and overload rates of highways and ordinary highways in the province have decreased from 3.67% and 6% at the end of the 12th Five Year Plan to below 0.5% and 1%, respectively.

Road transport vehicles exceeding limits and overloading not only seriously damage infrastructure such as roads, but also pose huge traffic safety risks, leading to an increasing number of road traffic accidents year by year.

In response to the problem of overloading and oversized trucks driving on highways, Taili Technology has independently developed a fully automatic vehicle length, width, and height detection system based on years of industry experience and the latest LiDAR detection technology. It has been widely used in fixed overloading stations, highway entrance overloading stations, material yards, parking lots, and other scenarios.

The laser type vehicle length, width, and height detection system adopts high-precision LiDAR detection equipment, which can detect vehicle size information in real time and accurately, and check whether it exceeds the standard. Once an over limit vehicle is detected, it will be immediately reported to the backend data system to promptly stop the over limit behavior, thereby ensuring road safety and driving safety, and reducing traffic safety hazards.
