Intelly Transportation Technology delivered laser vehicle type recognition devices required for the new entrance overload control lane project at the Taiqian and Gaomatou toll stations on the Henan Expressway, injecting new technological power into the highway entrance overload control work.

The ILS-EVP30 laser-based integrated vehicle recognition device, a star product of Intelly Technology, was delivered this time. It can work stably in harsh environments such as rain, snow, fog, ice, and frost, with a high recognition rate and a cool appearance.

The EVP30 integrates automatic license plate recognition, image and video capture, high-precision drive axle detection, and vehicle type recognition. It is equipped with proprietary drive axle recognition algorithms and vehicle classification technologies that are patented. It achieves three-dimensional scanning and real-time automated detection, with vehicle separation rates, axle count recognition accuracy, and axle type recognition accuracy all exceeding 99.5%!

The ILS-EVP30 laser-based integrated vehicle recognition device is composed of three major camera modules for the front, rear, and side of the vehicle, intelligent light compensation modules, two lidar sensors for horizontal and vertical scanning, and an algorithm control module. It can automatically and accurately capture the characteristic information of vehicles, and can output information such as the front and rear license plate numbers, vehicle type, front and rear photos, side view (stitched image), 5-second video, and axle type (drive axle).

The vehicle recognition device can be installed on one side of the toll island for use, with high detection efficiency. The detection results are available immediately after the vehicle passes through the detection area normally. It can be used for real-time detection as well as post-inspection. The system is easy to upgrade and can adapt to new vehicle types that emerge in the future without the need for hardware upgrades or modifications.
